On to another Topic. The Hunting of Monsters!

So. If you all have read my blog, Or know me at all. You know, I love Monster Hunter.

And thanks to the efforts of my lovely Fiance, I was able to get a Wii (She got it for me for X-mas) So I now can play Monster Hunter Tri.

And I have. Very. Very. Much.

Lets got to the intro. Apth's. running, attacked by some sort of Prey (If you play the old games, You know what I am saying) But its a new kind. Dunno what Element. An Apth falls in the water, some Nessy looking thing eats it. Gone. A Prey falls in the water, They look at it, 2 swim away, and one grabs and swims, As a Larger Beast swims by. Whoah, That thing was a BEAST!. Then back on the land, a Raith flys down, takes an Apth out, and fights some Preys. This Leviathan jumps out of the water, And challanges the Raith.

My first though. "Dude, You are bout to get F'ed in the A'. Raith dont take shit from no one!" But the Raith ends up flying away. Man, What a bummer. The Raith is the king of all Wyvrans, But it got chased off? Dude.

So, To the game. The game play is just as good and detailed as it always was. The Graphics have not improved at all. But hey, We dont play for that! We play because the weapons are cool, the monsters have details, and the multiplayer is amazing.

And is it.

When you load your character, you can choose 'village' or 'city'. The village is good for if you just want to run free, and kill shit. But the City is where the money is. It had better shops, better missions, oh, did I mentioned its Mulitplayer!

Aside from Wii's lack of Communication Equipment, The Multiplayer is actually really good ^^ You join a team of 3 other hunters, And go kill some big baddy!

If everyone knows what they are doing, You can be an HR 1-5, And DOMINATE something you solo at HR 15-ish. So its really. really. Good.

I will have more on it soon, But I am just getting into it! Time to play some more!

Updat'in that Blog!

Okay, So I am sorry that I have not posted in a while, Its all do to a few factors.

*I switched to Linux, So my PC gaming has come to neary a complete stop.

*I have been playing the SHIT out of my 360, But I do it between work. And blogging is kinda like work. So I dont think to do it ^^

*I have not really had anything to blog about. But all my ideas that would have become one short post, will be one long post now.

*And finally, I have been to busy working on my other blog on my days off (seeing as how they are the only days I can work on it)

So, to the point, I am making this blog post to post. Lol. Yeah, Sad huh? Well, Here is my spew of what I think of the games I have got recently.

1: Lets start with the most dissapointing: Front Mission Evolved.

When I got it, I was hoping 'Evolved' did not mean 'Changed'. Saddly, it did.

They Completly took out the Turn-Based System. The part of the game we all loved, ya'know?

You still get to build your Wanzer from the bottem, up. But the options are not as varied for body parts, as in 4, But they added more weapons. Like the Assualt Machine gun.... WHOAH! A gun that unloads 200+ Bullets before the clip runs out, Only 4 of them hit the target! AMAZING! Yay...

Over all, Front Mission Evolved ruined the Series, Much like WoW ruined Warcraft.

Yeah. I said it.

Moving on. For you two readers still here.

Lets move to Armored Core 4.

Armored Core was a good series if you wanted fast paced gameplay, with full customization. And they did that very well in this one! I mean, REALLY WELL!

The missions are fast and always interesting. If you do what the mission breifing tells you, Then you will make all the money you need to make the mech you want.

If you fail, You loss money, To repair your mech and refill your ammo. Like it should. So if you dont to what you should, Then your boned! Yay for games that punish you for sucking! lol

Over-all, AC4 Was a pretty decent game, That gives you alot of gameplay, And is totally worth the 14$ price tag on it!

Then Finally to the best. BLOOD BOWL!

Blood Bowl was an offshoot table-top game by Games Workshop (Makers of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k)_Where its like Orcs and Skaven, Humans, and Elves. And its Football. Yes. I said it. SPORTS! OH GOD!

But this is turn-based, Like a Table-Top-Game. And its not only bout getting the ball from one side to the other, But its about not getting your guys killed while doing it!

Its not often that a TTG converts into a console game easily, But this was PERFECT! The leveling system for the players, the campaign mode, And even the game-play its self was amazing!

Blood-Bowl is tatally worth its 12$ price tag!
