So, As a Semi-Successful Person in Doing So, I have taken my Significant Other and got her into Gaming.
Now, This seems to be a challenge for alot of people. So I though I would share some of my Tips on doing the Seemingly Impossible.
1: We get it, You Rape at a Game. But you have to lay it down for her. Say... Soul Cal. Now, This is fairly Tricky. What you do is Win one or two rounds. But Ultimately Give her the Match. It makes her feel Challenged, But Powerful. Eventually, You wont have to let her win, She just get better!
2: Make it 'Cute'. Get her some cute Card Sleeves, or Monsters for something of the sort. Like in Magic, Give her a Deck with Angels and Fish. Or Something. And for the love of god, Lay off the Demons for a little, Least tell she gets a little more... Into it.
3: Let her Pick games. No matter how... Simple... They may be. And play them with her! So if she likes Hello Kitty, Suck it up, At least tell she gets more into video games. Same for MMOs. If she wants to play MapleStory, They have at it! Just... Duck and Roll. Duck and Roll.
They are fairly simple no? Just... Stick with it for a little and you will be home free.
Maybe she will want to play DnD with you!
